STIPPLE Legal Issues

Below are the ownership, copyright, and libability statements for STIPPLE:
Ownership
I retain all rights to the work described in this manual. The work described in this manual is done using equipment entirely owned by me during my own spare time. I am willing to freely share any and all of the ideas contained the documentation without imposing any constraints on their use. (In other words, I won't be applying for any software patents.) Likewise, I am willing to listen to and perhaps incorporate any ideas that are suggested me, as long as they are provided freely and without any constraints. Since I work for Sun Microsystems, Inc., I have been particularly careful not to accidentally incorporate an Sun proprietary concepts into this work.

Copyright
I own the copyright to all of the material pertaining to STIPPLE that I have authored. You are free to make hypertext links, to my material but making either electronic or paper copies for republication purposes should not be done without asking me first.

Liability
I make no warrantee on any of this work. If you choose to use it and it causes you to incur a financial loss, it is your loss, not mine; do not try to sue me to recover your losses. If you do not like the lack of any warrantee, do not use the software.
