This is the A revision of the EMDP1 Bootstrap Adaptor. It is a work in progress.
The Bootstrap Adpator is used to program the PIC16F877 in the EMDP1 for the first time with a boot loader. Afterwards, the boot loader is used to upgrade the firmware in the PIC16F877. Thus, the goal of the bootstrap loader is to be quite inexpensive, since, in theory, it should only need to be used once.
