IDE Selection

While there are many integrated development enviroments out there, the one is pulling ahead is Eclipse. Eclipse runs on the tree primary host platforms (Linux, MacOS, and Windows). Prior to Eclipse, every time I used an IDE, I usually found it sufficiently lame, that I went back to Emacs, the command line, and make. Eclipse has crossed the threshold where it is providing enough functionality to be worth using without backing out.

All further discussion is in my Eclipse notes page.
