1. Introduction

The Compass8 module is used to connect to a Dinsmore Instrument Company 1490 digital compass. The compass can report the 8 bearings (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW.)

The hardware consists of a circuit schematic and a printed circuit board.
