Custom RoboBricks 2 PCB's

In order to make it easier to obtain RoboBricks2 modules, the following form will allow you to generate a custom Printed Circuit Board with just the modules that you require. You select the number of each module you need and click on the [Generate PCB's] button. What comes back is a file in .zip format that contains the files (e.g. Gerber files, Excellon files, etc.) needed to have the boards fabricated. It can take up to a minute or so to generate the required files, so please be patient.

You might want to post a message on the RoboBricks2 Yahoo Group before ordering up your own boards. That way people can give you some guidance.

Once you have generated the gerber files you are welcome to unpack the .zip file using your favorite .zip file unpacker. Once you have done that, you may view the gernerated gerbers with the gerber.tcl file. It may be necessary to download tcl/tk to your system beforehand. The easiest way to download tcl/tk is from ActiveState:

gerber.tcl is a command program that is run from the command line. On Windows/Linux/Unix/MaxOS:
cd directory containing gerber files
wish gerber.tcl --scale 250 *.gal *.drl
where wish is the full path to the wish (WIndow SHell) tcl/tk interpreter. Replace "*.gal" with "*.gbl" to see the back traces, and use "*.gtl" to see the top traces. Larger values for scale increase the size and smaller ones decrease the size.
