HobECAD `To Do' List

Here is a list of things to do for HobECAD in more or less priority order:

• Keep working on checking code
• Improve rasterfile output speed.
• Allow parts to be specified graphically
• Make thick lines less jaggy.
• Allow glyphs to be specified graphically
• Fix sticky via bug with yank command
• Add load code
• Add save command
• Improve rendering speed
• Keep documentation up to date
• Add scrolling of some sort
• Completely redo the basic rendering code
• Make printing work without calling Xlib
• Create a test suite.
• Add carriage return code
• Add string movement routines
• Add lower case desender characters (i.e. "gjpqy")
• Keep working on monochome monitor mode (maybe not)
• Fix mouse/keyboard interaction bugs
• Add overline mode feedback to the cursor
• Add the ability to work on multiple files from the same executable.
• Add an undo facility
• Add a recover/auto-save facility
• Check combined mouse and keyboard events for bugs
• Turn on bit gravity (ORA XLib Vol. 1 page 99)
• Fix all of the FIXME's
• Fix all of the places where the cell size is hard wired to 10x10 pixels.
• Deal with crossing lines bug in PCB connectivity
• Get exit to work
• Switch over to SUID
• Get cracking on low-grade logic simulator
