This is revision A of the
PIC28 Plug and it is currently a
work in progress.
EMDP1 PIC28 Plug (Rev. A)
The PIC28 plug is used to program 28-pin and
40-pin PIC's. This includes the PIC16F64x,
PIC16F66x, PIC16C6x, PIC16C7x, PIC16C9x, PIC16F7x,
and PIC16F87x. It is likely that MicroChip will
add additional processors that adhere to this pin-out
as they continue to expand their PIC product line.
The PIC28 identifier is 0000 0000 0010.

Please note, for PIC serial plugs, the 2×17
male header goes on the back, and the soldering
occurs on the front; this is opposite of what
usually occurs.
